Just a Little Update

Well life lately has been BUSY. Landon and I are both working really hard at our SECOND TO LAST semester at BYU (woot woot!) Landon is taking 16.5 credits and I am taking 14 on top of working around 12 hours a week. Landon's classes are very intense and involve a lot of group projects and countless hours upon hours of programming. Poor kid. My classes have been great. I feel like I'm finally learning stuff that applies to being a teacher! I get to go out to the schools in just a few weeks and I'm so dang excited! I finally get to PRACTICE all these things I've been learning and hopefully I can be a good teacher. Yikes...I'm nervous! I definitely did not realize how hard it is to teach Kindergarten! Everyone makes fun of us...but it really is harder than you'd think! I mean hello, Kindergarten is the foundation for the rest of these kids LIVES! haha :) I'll get off my soapbox now...

Anyway, we are both LOVING living in Sandy and the commute has not been as bad as I thought it would be. The bus ride is a little over an hour, but its not too bad because I can just sit back and do homework, or read, or listen to my Ipod. We definitely made a great decision by moving up here and have loved getting to spend more time with the fam!

In other news, two of my best friends have very exciting events coming up! Jenna dear is leaving on her mission on October 13th. I'm so happy for her, but also starting to have MAJOR panic attacks because I don't really know how I'm going to survive!! She is going to be the most AMAZING missionary ever though!! Seriously, that girl is freakin amazing. My goal in life is to one day be as good as her :) haha and then Trina dear is getting MARRIED on November 3rd to her high school sweetie, Brian. I couldn't be happier for her! They are such a cute couple and he treats her like gold! I don't think I've ever seen her so happy and she deserves it!

I love both of these girls SO much! Its crazy to see how much we have changed and how GROWN-UP we are getting. Freaks me out! I'm gonna get all cheesy now... but I'm just SO lucky to have friends that have ALWAYS been there for me and that I know I can count on for the rest of my life! :) Life is good.

P.S. Okay sorry this post turned out to be WAY longer than I originally planned, but my parents took Landon and I to a REAL soccer game a few weeks ago and it was a BLAST! I saw a guy HEAD BUTT a ball into the goal. Best moment of my life...wish I could've gotten a dang picture! Oh well, you're just going to have to deal with a picture of boring old us... :)
