Well, I'm already crying before I can even get any words out. HOW! Just How?! I blinked and my baby is acting more like a toddler than a baby and my heart is just aching. Goodness, he has grown sooooo much this past month and he is just the cutest little stinker EVER!
Remember all my earlier posts about Teddy talking about how mellow and sweet he is? Well, that was wishful thinking! He is still sweet as can be, but mellow... not at all! Mr. Teddy is Mr. BUSY! He can crawl soooo fast, walks along furniture so fast he's almost running, and just has a LOT he needs to do and see. His little personality has just exploded this past month.
Some things we are really noticing about his personality is that he is SILLY. He absolutely LOVES to dance and will dance to any kind of music, including Landon whistling. And his moves are just on point! The other thing he has been doing is play wrestling. If you say "Get Dada!" or "Get Charlie" he will attack and start pretend biting them. It is soooo hilarious and cute!
Teddy Jack, I can't believe how big you are and how much you've grown. You are the sweetest, cutest little baby and we love you SOOO much!
Okay onto the update...
-Teddy finally got to meet his Gigi (Landon's Grandma Ellen). He warmed right up to her, which makes sense because she's the best!
-Nini and Papa finally moved into their new home and it is BEAUTIFUL. Teddy had so much fun crawling around and exploring.
-We broke out our pop up tents and Teddy has been loving them. He's a little explorer and loves to crawl through them and play. Nini also gave us Landon's old pop up tent so both of the kids have loved that too!
-Teddy is still cuddly, but it has definitely become a less frequent occurrence since he's so wiggly and rambunctious now. Bottle time is definitely our most cuddly time. :)
-Teddy went to his first pumpkin patch and I think he was a little indifferent but he sure was cute sitting on the pumpkins! We didn't end up picking our pumpkins up at the patch because they were all super weird this year... like oddly shaped or too big. But, it was still fun... I guess ;)
-Nana and Pops came for a few visits this month, which has been amazing! We haven't seen them nearly as much as we would like to because of Covid. They took their masks off for a quick picture with Teddy and I got a little bit in trouble by my older sister that's a doctor. They just haven't had many opportunities to hold Teddy so each time they see him, we document! :)
-We went up to Cascade Springs in the Mini Cooper that Landon has spent the past 6 months working on (more on that later). It was such a beautiful drive up the canyon to see the fall leaves and then go for a little hike. We also got donuts and Teddy couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough. Teddy thought that riding on Landon's shoulders was the coolest thing ever. It was adorable! He just couldn't stop grinning and giggling.
-Teddy LOVES food. He can actually eat a surprising amount. For lunch, he can eat an entire sandwich and have fruit too. For breakfast he usually eats half a banana and yogurt. One night he scarfed down some lasagna at Grandpa and Grandma's and he looked like Donald Trump...
-He has four teeth and his upper teeth has a huge gap between them (for now). He has the absolute cutest little grin! But teething has been a BEAST for the poor guy. He has had a few rough nights/days when a new tooth comes in and he gets extra clingy (and he's already pretty clingy).
-Charlie and Teddy are still SOOO in love with each other. It is seriously the best thing to watch them play together! Charlie has gotten a little more annoyed with Teddy as of late, because he's totally getting into his toys and bothering him more haha. Charlie has started to be more strategic when he has something he doesn't want Teddy to have by moving it to the kitchen/dining room where Teddy can't get it.
-Here are the wrestling videos of Teddy "getting" Charlie. It's soooo funny!
-Teddy had his first experience carving pumpkins... aka he fussed while I carve pumpkins because he was mad I wasn't paying attention to him. Maybe next year he'll be more involved!
-Teddy and Charlie had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandma's while we had a date night with friends. Teddy gave Grandpa some really cute cuddles and then had fun decorating (well, just eating) Halloween cookies. He is so loved and spoiled!
-Teddy loves to sing and dance and it's really the cutest thing ever! He will even dance to Landon's whistling. His favorite song is definitely, "This is Halloween."
And here are some more pictures and videos. Teddy, we are so in love with you! You are the cutest, silliest, sweetest baby boy and I can't believe it's almost your birthday!!!!
