We had SO much fun celebrating America's birthday with Charlie! It was always one of my favorite holidays as a kid (I will never understand how people can like it more than Christmas though...) so it just makes me so happy to start making memories and traditions with our little family.
We started the day by going to Riverton's little carnival and the park. Unfortunately Charlie wasn't tall enough to ride ANY of the kiddie rides. Bummer! But he actually didn't seem to care and just had fun looking at everything.
matchy matchy :)
After that we played at the park and walked around the booths that were set up.
His cheeks in this picture KILL me! So funny.
Then it was naps for everyone before a BBQ and pool party at Nini and Papa's. Charlie had SOOO much fun playing in the water!!
Next up was the food, and Charlie is a big fan of food. He ate his very first hamburger and LOVED it. It was the funniest thing because he kept saying "mmm hmm!" as he was taking bites.
And of course we finished the day with fireworks. We decided to go check out the Riverton City fireworks and it was so fun. Charlie is so funny and would say "BIG" and then whisper "firework." He is such a character!!
I just love seeing life through Charlie's eyes! It was the best day.
