Charlie's 2nd Birthday Celebration.

I just LOVE birthdays and getting a full day to celebrate people I love. Charlie's birthday was seriously perfect. He was just so happy and had so much fun!! It also really worked out that Grandpa, Grandma, and MJ were in town. We loved having them here, especially for Charlie's big day. We did miss Nana and Pops (who are in Europe) but that just means Charlie can celebrate more later. :)

We started the day off with balloons in his crib (including his Nemo and Dory balloon) and singing Happy Birthday. He loved it!

For breakfast he had pancakes with sprinkles (or rainbow pancakes as he called them) and he looooved blowing out the candles.

For his daytime celebration we decided to go to the aquarium to stick with the Nemo birthday theme, of course.  He always loves the aquarium, but he especially loved it this time because I let him run around more than I usually do! :)

He LOVES the new Nemo tank!

On our way home, he completely passed out in the car. Like he was completely OUT. He wouldn't wake up when I stroked his cheek and talked to him. He was definitely feeling all the excitement of the day!

After his nap, we went to Airborne, a big indoor trampoline place. Landon had the idea to take him there for his birthday because Charlie loooooves to "jump jump." It was seriously SO much fun! Charlie was just in his element--running and jumping everywhere. He just loved it!! The adults had a lot of fun too!

I really love his picture of Grandma :)

Next up was dinner (pizza--his fave) and presents. Oh boy, was he spoiled! After he opened each present, he would bring it to me and say "open" so he could get the toy out of the box. It was a little hard for him to move on to the next present because he liked his current present, but he did a lot better than Christmas.

Nini and Papa got him the cutest little doll that he can unzip and button, a Nemo towel, a Mickey umbrella (he's OBSESSED with umbrellas!), Paw Patrol underwear (again, obsessed with Paw Patrol haha), an awesome look and find book, and an entire set of Finding Dory characters (which he's recently become obsessed with since he saw Finding Dory a few months ago. He loves Hank, Destiny, and Bailey).

Grandpa and Grandma got him a pass to Thanksgiving Point! AHHH! I know he doesn't understand it yet, but he is going to have SOO much fun at all the museums and at the farm. We can't WAIT to take him!

Mom and Dad got him two lego duplo sets (one generic one and then a train set) and then a tricycle and a drum set (that we were gifted for free--Thanks Tara and Steve!!!) He opened his drum second to last and was NOT interested in opening his last present (his trike). We eventually had to move the drum to the front room and he cried, "druuuum! Drrruuuuummm!" like it was the end of the world. It was so sad, but he was happy once we eventually got him to open the trike ha!

His sad little face because we took away his drum haha
Grandma and Grandpa spent a good 30 minutes wrapping the trike for me! Thank you!!!
Sitting on the trike backwards :)

After presents we had cake (which was my ghetto version of a "Nemo" cake ha! Thanks for frosting it Nini!!!) and Charlie only ate the sprinkles and frosting--the good part obviously!

He was trying to blow out the candle the whole time we were singing to him. I can't handle his face!!!

He stayed up super late playing with his toys and then crashed around 10:30. It was such a fun day and I'll never forget how happy and sweet Charlie was! We sure love him and can't believe he is TWO!

And here's a video summary, because I am into making videos right now. Landon loves the cheesy music.. NOT! ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE DEAN!!!!
